  5. The Walking Dead

She has been getting hotter each episode since she was on it. I hope she stays with the group when they finally leave the farm.

  6. The Walking Dead

ACTUALLY, if you watch zombie movies, especially the original Romero ones (including his recent additions diary and survival of the dead), they always show the human emotion side of things. Night of the Living became a classic because of this too and the ending scene became a large part of that.

But Walking Dead excels at this.

  7. The Walking Dead

you mean the 'I don't wanna die! Eat him not me!' part?

  8. Re: The Walking Dead

So what’s going on with the dead? Is turning into a walker a new thing or has it always been that way?

  9. Re: The Walking Dead

In the comic, they learn about dead people just turning on their own in the prison story arc, (which is coming up in Season 3), when one of the remaining inmates murders someone. I had long suspected that Jenners secret that he whispered to Rick at the end of Season 1 was the revaltion that they're all actually infected.

  10. Re: The Walking Dead

I was disappointed in some of the scenes in the season finale of season 2. Dude drives RV to burning farm and gets up and then.. oops zombies burst through door to eat him. And then Patricia... wtf, running in wide open field.. somehow doesn't realize zombies are next to her to fend for herself and just gets owned. And wtf was Carol doing? Hi, I'm running in the front and I don't know where I'm going so I corner myself.

I realize the whole scene was supposed to be showing the chaos happening, but c'mon. At least give their deaths a little more depth. And seriously, Lori. Your kid got shot and almost died and he has slipped out of your hands one too many times

The way the writing for the characters has been going so far.. you basically have no opinion on the women in the first season. And then throughout the second season to the end, you begin to despise them.

The only character left that I have respect for is Daryl. If he goes out.. which he probably will, he better have a hell of an exit.

  11. The Walking Dead

I was thinking Daryl's the only character I actually like on the show. The others seem a bit dull and fuckwitted. Hopefully Lori gets eaten soon, can't stand her at all.

  12. Re: The Walking Dead

Daryl needs to go nuts and go boondock saints on everyone.

  13. Re: The Walking Dead

I nearly read spoilers for the end episode its fuckin shit

  14. The Walking Dead

Eh? What's shit? That you nearly read spoilers? Or the episode? If its the episode, how would you know it's shit if you've not seen it? Sooooo many questions.

  15. Re: The Walking Dead

I haven't really kept up with Season 2. I got tired of episodes with people sitting around a farm bickering. By the time they found the little girl, I no longer cared about the little girl. I expected this show to be something more than a soap opera with zombie cameos, and I've been pretty disappointed. I've grown to despise most of the characters. The pacing is glacial. The zombies have such a minor role that we don't even know basic details about them, like how someone turns into a zombie in this particular zombie outbreak. Does everyone come back as a zombie regardless of how they die? Do they have to be bitten? How has this not been answered after two seasons? I'm not sure if the budget ran dry or what, but save for the Season 2 premiere and mid-season finale, Season 2 has been entirely filler episodes. I think you can pretty much watch the season premieres and finales with this show and not really miss anything.

  16. Re: The Walking Dead

Again, rule of thumb. Don't read thread about said show/movie if it's already premiered/ended.

  17. Re: The Walking Dead

I read that season 2 got a little off pace since Frank Darabont had dropped out after a few eps into season 2. Not sure if it would be different if he had stayed on though.

  18. Re: The Walking Dead

I just seen I posted something about it being shit spoilers. I was obliviously fraped.

Anyway, here is the trailer for season 3. It looks freaking epic!

  19. Re: The Walking Dead

I never made it through the 1st season of episodes for this show, but not because I didn't like it. I just got sidetracked with other things and it fell by the wayside. However, I recently downloaded a digital omnibus of the Walking Dead comic series from the comiXology app (it's close to 1000 pages) and figure that I'll be more motivated to start up where I left off as a result.

It's only 6 episodes in the first season. You could literally pick it back up and be done with it within the same day.
