There may be a CyanogenMod App Store in the near future

    Koush, best known as the author of ROM Manager and ClockworkMod Recovery for Android made a crazy post on google+

    So cm is about to hit over 1 million users. That's pretty crazy considering it most likely surpassed that since you have to opt in to the stats gathering in CM for them to count you.

    It's the best ROM I've used. It gets rid of all of the crapware and gives something close to a stock Android experience. I'm not surprised so many are using it.
