Yes. They threw a temper tantrum about "offensive" Halloween costumes and wound up costing a highly respected professor her job, because the professor had the "audacity" to compose an email basically telling everyone to lighten the fuck up, have some fun with Halloween, and stop being so outraged all the time at everything.

Even the Atlantic, which is super liberal, thinks these students are in the wrong, are trying to impose censorship (which goes against everything liberalism supposedly stands for), and are behaving like stereotypical SJWs.

I think the point monkey is trying to get across that alterego is ignoring is that some people think they are so high and mighty it gives them the right to costs people their jobs or reputation because they have a different view.

I don't believe there are more than 2 genders but I respect people's right to believe there is and won't protest outside a LGB club.

I don't believe in God but I respect people's rights to believe there is and won't protest outside a church.

I don't believe aliens built the pyramids but I respect crazy people's rights to believe there is and wont protest outside the history channels headquarters.

  3. The term SJW now has a negative connotation and has an implicit "faux-SJW" at the beginning of it. Instead of actually fighting for racial inclusion or women progression, they pick trivial soft targets and try to destroy them. No doubt fueled by the sense of achievement you get when you are awarded trophies for losing all your life.

BLM isn't considered SJW because they actually have a legit cause. Meanwhile, SJWs prefer to attack part time uber drivers with hula bobble heads and get them fired... GG!

  4. That isn't actually true. She resigned and it wasn't because the administration asked or expected her to. Yale has actually asked her to reconsider. I also did some brief reading beyond the Atlantic article, and there was other context to the students being upset at Yale, like non-white students around that time being told they couldn't attend sorority parties because it was "white girls only". I don't think it was really just the Halloween costume email that had set people off.

Besides, this is a country where elected members of Congress spent the better part of 8 years throwing a tantrum about Barack Obama supposedly not being born in the country, and it was a huge hit with their adult constituents.

  5. High and mighty? Sounds like the the history of white people in the United States. And that's not a sarcastic comment.

  6. And once again you reference the past without and forget the here and now.

Here and now is where the problem is and the future can be changed, the past is done and no one can change it.

  7. History includes the present. Majority of the House of Representatives is conservative white males. Majority of the Senate is conservative white males. The president-elect is a conservative white male. How's that for high and mighty? The next four years is going to be a veritable orgy of white high-and-mightiness. They're out to set some records for it.

  8. It was a SAE frat party, that only wanted white girls to rape lol. This is a glimpse of SAE by the way NSFW

Fiscally, absolutely. Massive pro-business deregulation and tax cuts are coming. But socially he's left of center. Him conveniently finding god and opposing abortion is laughable. He's supported single payer health care and still supports covering everyone. He doesn't give a shit about entitlement reform. Also all his kids are ultra-liberal NYC socialites. He was trolling rednecks and they never realized it or don't care. The GOP is gonna want Mike Pence in charge or they will have to embrace the shift too.

But then I've been wrong about everything this election. So who knows...

  9. People are going to find out why electing an "outsider" with no political or legislation track record can be a giant mistake. Watch and learn. Trump will sell out anyone at any time.

  10. I think you've already lost the debate if you result to simplifying it to terms like SJWs. Pointless trying to engage as you've already shown your incapacity to rationally deal with things.

LOL at the use of South Park too; that bastion of higher thinking that always looks towards the douche vs turd outlook. How very thought provoking.

What a fucking shitfest of a mindset.

  11. monsly, you're such an SJW. Probably trying to set up the British wing of the cult as we speak.

  12. Absolutely. You'll get no disagreement from me.

Allegedly, he's still holding business meetings and the issue of a construction permit came up in a congratulatory phone call from Argentina. It's gonna be a shit show... but an opportunist is better than a true believer, imo.

    @monsly

Douche vs Turd is one of the most insightful satires of American politics of all time. Maybe you don't get it because you are British. But that is exactly what our presidential elections are like. It always comes down to two shitty candidates, and you get to decide which one is slightly less shitty. Also if you don't live in a battleground state like Florida or Ohio, our stupid electoral college system makes it so your vote is meaningless.

  14. lol dismissive ad-hominem attack, refusing to debate, but declaring victory. You done got Trumped.

  15. Which is EXACTLY the mindset that Republicans want in the general public: don't vote, it's not worth it, they're all the same. That's just part of demonizing democratic government and ultimately replacing it with autocracy.

  16. They forgot to include James Comey.

  17. Spoken like a true believer. I don't like or trust either politcal party. The Democrats are just slightly less gross, and tend to align more with my views.

  18. More like someone who actually pays attention to politics and government. The GOP has spent decades conditioning the general population to think the way that you do.

  19. But this election wasn't about not voting... it was about voting unexpectedly. The minority vote was mind boggling and I've been conducting my own exit polls courtesy of facebook. Anecdotally, Puerto Rican's and Cubans are Latinos that don't give a fuck about Mexico. Indians are Asians that give no fucks about a Muslim ban. Some muslims prefer Trumps ban over HC's bombings. My polling is skewed because white people deny voting for Trump at all lol.

I'm actually no longer sure Sanders could've gotten all these votes. Neither party seems to fit them.

Asians are under-represented high income earners. As a group, they've gotten fucked by affirmative action. Makes sense they would take the big tax cut and run.
