Record turnout is good for Biden. But it is 2020 after all. I expect Trump to win the electoral college by a landslide and lose the popular vote by 8 digits.
I think my favorite part of this election is people pretending that Texas is a toss up with a straight face.
I still think Trump will win, but it's closer that I had expected. I predicted Trump would easily win long before the COVID debacle, which has made it much closer.
It's going to be interesting to watch just how wildly off the popular vote is from the electoral college in this election. It's looking like it's basically already over in favor of Trump. The only thing Biden managed to flip was PA.
And Biden isn't even winning PA now. And he's not even winning the popular vote. What a bunch of losers the Democrats are. They can't even beat a guy who puts kids in cages and lies about a pandemic.
I’m checking the phone and Apple has it right so far. Every swing state has been watch the Democrats lead early because they already voted then watch the lead go away as the days totals come in.
Yeah.. He’s gonna take it down with the east coast + Texas. Doesn’t even need the Midwest and West coast.
Don't look at the state as a whole and you'll understand. You have to look at the counties. Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties are part of Greater Orlando. All blue. Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties are also all blue. The rest of Florida is just a shit show. Pretty unimportant cities with no cultural diversity.
But that’s how every state is. It’s just that the blue counties aren’t blue enough anymore. In PA only 4 counties out of 67 vote blue. Due to population density that used to be enough to turn the state blue. We’ll see if that holds...
What's up with PA taking so long to count? Normally FL is the fuckup state that can't figure out how to count the votes, but this time it's PA.
Florida is the size of several normal states and politically really different depending on which part of the state you're in. It gets dragged down by people on the west coast and panhandle who are very conservative.
Lol up until last year you could only vote by mail with a certified reason stating you can’t vote in person. On top of that they only counted those ballets at the end IF they could make a numerical difference. This year they opened mail in to anyone. Got 2.5M votes. But can’t count them until in person is done. Also PA is accepting all incoming mail in ballots until Friday. We are in for a ride.
Michigan just flipped blue as more votes were counted. So basically everything now hinges on PA. Get your shit together PA. You're the new FL.
Gotta wait till Friday... haha. Although, they should be able to call it earlier based on Philly turnout. I thought Trump can't win without Michigan?
