What Games Are You Playing?

  1. Prey makes a strong first impression, but gets kinda boring. I never finished it.

  2. Yeah I'm struggling. It's mostly a rehash of the good elements from other Sci-Fi FPS games but with a mediocre story. I suppose the neuromod upgrade system has me hooked. If I had something better to play I'd probably drop it.

  3. Mass Effect: Andromeda

I'm enjoying it so far but it's still way to early to say if it's a good game or not. The goofball animations have been pretty limited.

  4. RE7, it actually made me jump once so it is the first horror game in a long time to actually do the job properly. The last one was RE2 when the licker jumped through the window, probably 20 years ago now.

Best played in the dark, I would also say in silence but the jet engine that Sony installed in my PS4 doesn't allow for that.

  5. Had the chance to get it for £15 in the PS sales but i'll wait until the gold edition with all of the DLC is around that price. You played the Evil Within's? Guy who created Resident Evil does them.

  6. I’m only really playing Binding of Isaac currently - trying to get all the boss marks. Only Boss Rush and Hush get on my nerves; don’t like rushing and you have to be a bit quicker for them.

  7. You lot still play online games? Think the last one I played with you three was Uncharted 2 or 3.

  8. I find it hard to play with Monsly and Chi now, their racist, biogoted, chauvinist attitudes make me physically sick.

  9. Just like Robbie leaving Take That all of those years ago!

    Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus

It's very similar to the first Wolfenstein reboot game. It has good graphics, some cool setpiece areas (nuked out NYC), and it's fun shooting Nazis. But it also has a lot of boring and bad parts and lame story stuff that drags on too long.

  11. Evil Within 2

Love me some survival horror. Evil 1 was great this is so much better. The crafting system is a nice touch as well.

  13. Everyone needs a Horse Prince in their life

  14. South Park: The Fractured But Whole

A little boring at first but it's getting better as the story goes on.

  15. I've been playing Subnautica. Its really well done, better than most survival games I've played. The sound and music is outstanding and it genuinely give me goosebumps a times when I'm in open ocean and I hear particular creature sounds approaching. My only complaint is it occasionally crashes, so I have to remember to save often just in case.

  16. Started Rime today. Nice little indie chill out platformer game with beautiful game art. Not bad for a free PSplus game.

  17. I played the Beta when it came out. I thought it was good but kind of limited on things to do. I've heard the full release has a lot more going on. I'm tempted to give it another go.

  18. Subnautica has great reviews. I get the impression that Subnautica is basically the game that No Man's Sky was trying to be but couldn't pull off.

  19. There is quite a bit to do, enough that it requires a bit of planning and time management. I also like how the story is presented very organically, and never forced upon you. The game does not spoon feed the player, so regarding the story, the environment, the resources, etc., it requires actual discovery, which is a nice change of pace from many of the other games I've played.
