Well the way he was describing the situation along with the pictures I kind of got the feeling there was an epic battle on the way to the Queen but you're right, it's not the same as playing it for yourself. When I first started playing ME2 I was amazed at the depth and detail they went to with their universe regarding races, their history and even economies. I would read up on all the races and backgrounds but I soon got bored of that. Shepard has crazy eyes in that game which makes it hard for me to take him seriously. I should get it back off my mate and finish it sometime. Arkham Asylum is a genuinely awesome game by the way.
You don't even get to see much of the Citadel in ME2. Just play the first game. Bfun was a Mass Effect hater at first too. Now I think it's one of his all time favorite games. You like Elder Scrolls, right? Do you think someone could adequately sum up the experience of Oblivion or Morrowind in five minutes?
It's for the online multiplayer not the story. Both are different. The original was different. More RPG orientated whereas the second was more focused on combat. Speaking of ME. ME3 has to be the dogs bollocks and go more RPG orientated like the original, as well as the feel of the game. The first felt more like discovery than the second, although the hive and crashed ship in space levels were awesome!
I haven't even tried the Uncharted 3 Beta but I have downloaded it. Been on a bit of a games lull at the moment, saving every bit of money possible, not sure what for at the moment but I think it will be nice to have a mound of money and it could come in handy I suppose. Haven't even purchased Zelda OoT 3D as I don't want to spend the £30.
Beat Bayonetta, the DMC team did REAL good there. I loved every BIT of it. It might put gay dudes off though... very underrated game. I need to try Vanquish now
I couldn't get into the first Witcher game because of the wonky controls. I had quite a time even figuring the basic combat controls. The Witcher 2, on the other hand, was pretty easy to figure out. It's obviously been influenced (positively) by other games like Demon's Souls. I ordered an adapter for the 360 controller. I'll try it out when I get it. However, I haven't had much trouble with kb/m in this game.
Why would you need an adapter for a 360 controller? It's USB and automatically recognized by windows.
^^^ right there. I have no idea what adapter you got for the x360.. it's probably some USB extension cable if anything. I say this because I stopped into gamestop a few years ago and just bought a used official x360 controller and installed drivers.. bam. Drivers: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows Unless you're talking about a wireless adapter?
Same reason why you made the other thread. GREEDY CORPORATIONS SELLING TO CONSUMERS WHO DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER BLARRRGGHH
The normal 360 wired controllers work. I've got the official charge pack which uses a USB connection but that didn't work when I connected my wireless pad to my PC. Not sure if there's any work around. Wasn't when I looked.
I don't think I can possibly play through The Witcher 1. I just can't stand the control setup. I was going to eventually play through it to check out bits of the backstory I missed jumping straight into The Witcher 2 first, but I don't see how I could make myself do it. It's like playing Ninja Gaiden and then trying to get into the combat action and precision of WoW.
