I guess I'm just behind the times then. Sounds like Rockstar has gone the route of EA and Ubisoft. I guess everyone sees the success of Steam and wants something similar.
Nintendoland on the Wii U. This was fantastic fun for local multiplayer with 3-4 people. The ghost game and mario dash are inspired, simple and just so addictive.
Nintendoland is actually a really good game. I’m not even into the Wii-U so I think that says something. The Metroid game is probably my favorite.
My kids are kind of addicted to Mario Party 10 for few weeks. I guess Nintendoland could then be a good replacement if they finally got bored.
Nintendoland and Mario Party are kind of similar. Lots of variety. Nintendoland has 12 games which are too big to be called mini-games but also not large enough to stand on their own. Each can be completed in less than an hour but are probably best in 15 minute play session.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Assassin's Creed Revelations Assassin's Creed III Child of Light Call of Juarez Gunslinger
ea is having a deal on PS3 so I managed to get these two for cheap: dragon age: Origins(£4) Ssx 3(£5.60)
Homeworld Remastered is fantastic. They did a great job of modernizing one of the best game franchises ever.
Wolfenstein The New Order Fallout New Vegas With Expansions Alien Isolation The Vanishing of Ethan Carter The Talos Principle PayDay 2 - The popularity level on Steam is off the charts and I'm curious why. It was only $4.99.
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a game that takes some patience. There are no instructions or guide. I'm not sure if that's your bag. I'll be curious about your opinion of Alien Isolation. I'll pick it up on the next sale if it's good.
If it's bad I'll just return it. No more slugging through bad games hoping they'll get better just because I paid for them. If they aren't doing it for me in the first two hours, I'll just get a refund. This new steam return policy is awesome. I think you may actually see a big increase in Steam's sales with this. People will be more willing to try games they're on the fence about. It's also going to make it much harder for companies like Ubisoft to dump bad games on customers, because everyone will just return it if it sucks. I also think there are a lot of smaller developers who would much rather issue refunds than have people leave bad reviews.
I only grabbed Life is Strange from the sale. I'm thinking of waiting until Tales from borderlands and game of thrones from telltale to hit 75% off.
