Shut your whore mouth. Let's have a game now... Here's your cards: 4 Clubs, 7 Diamonds I'll raise you £16 to begin.
I downloaded Journey, NBA 2K17, and Lords of the Fallen from PSN for "free". Still haven't played them though. Too busy ranking on MKX and MGSV (FOBs), and still making money on GTA Online. Come to think of it I still haven't played AC Unity and I've had that over a year. I'm beginning to collect quite a back log of unplayed games. Nothing compared to most steam users I'm sure.
I'll probably buy BF1 and take a wait and see approach with Titanfall 2. The last couple of Battlefield games have been mediocre. Bad Company 2 was the last really good Battlefield game IMO. Battlefield 1 is really tempting though because we've never seen anything like it before. WWI has never really been done in a big, mainstream game. Also the initial reviews are great. Gamespot 9/10, IGN 9/10. Titanfall was awesome, but its community died a quick death due to some terrible decision making on EA's part. If they had compressed the game so it wasn't a 50GB download, offered it for sale on Steam, and had properly addressed server and matchmaking issues instead of ignoring them for long periods of time,Titanfall probably would have been a huge hit. The gameplay was great. I thought it was up there with Counter-Strike and Halo CE as one of the better multiplayer shooters I've played. EA had what should have been an instant classic on their hands, but they ruined it by being greedy.
My concern with Titanfall 2 is that it might be dead in 12 months so waiting to get it might not be a good idea. However, I really enjoyed the BF1 beta so I'll probably try that first.
True. Titanfall had a short shelf life. I'm worried that if I don't get TF2 around launch, the community will be dead.
@bfun What is your name in Origin so I can add you as a friend? Maybe we can play some Battlefield 1 or TF2 at some point. Mine is cmdrmonkey45
bfun_x1 Nvidia being a pain in the ass right now. Game wont start without latest drivers. Driver update keeps crashing. Looks like it might finally be working now.
The campaign in this game is epic. It's everything I hoped it would be so far. I love how you change perspectives to a new soldier when you die. It really helps capture the feeling of being in some huge WWI battle where people are dying left and right. It's got Gallipoli. It's got Lawrence of Arabia. It has poison gas attacks. Trench warfare. Bi-plane battles. This is like everything I ever wanted out of a WWI game.
Titanfall 2 - Gamespot 9/10. Giantbomb 5/5, IGN - positive review but no score yet Reviews are really good. Went ahead and bought it for $42 in case it has a relatively short shelf life like the first one.
I also want Dishonored 2, Shadow Warrior 2, and Civilization 6. But I don't have the time to play all of these games. Way too much coming out this holiday season. Not like that's a bad thing. It feels like this generation is finally starting up.
