What Games Have You Bought Recently?

  1. Do you have PlayStation Move? Killzone 3 is compatible, that's on my list now.

  2. I've lost my Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition. I have no idea where it went. I fail as a Jedi.

  3. Guess what I've got:

  4. In case anyone doesn't know Time Crisis: Razing Storm is three games in one. You get Razing Storm with an Arcade Mode and a Story mode where you use the nav controller to move fps style. You also get a pirate shooting game and the arcade version of Time Crisis 4. I've just finished my first playthrough of the arcade mode of Razing Storm and am now playing through it again. There is definitely some arm aching going on as monsly suspected but no more than if you were playing in the arcade, it kind of helps to give it the arcadey feel. I used to get a bit of arm ache from playing Heavy Rain with move but that's gone now I'm used to it, I'm hoping it will lessen when my body gets used to playing this game too. There's no doubt the sharpshooter makes it easier to play (I played the demo with just the move wand) so if you're going to play shooters with move it's definitely worth investing in the sharpshooter. It's definitely an action packed carnage fest that's good for letting off some steam after a hard days work. I'll update once I've played a bit more.

p.s. the stock is extendable (perfect for the sniping sections) and the whole underbarrel section that the navigation controller sits in can be cocked like a shotgun. In arcade mode this acts as an alternate firing mode but I've heard on other gametypes it's how you reload. There's also a deathmatch mode where you move using the navigation controller which I'll have a crack at once I'm better acquainted with the whole thing.

    Happy birthday to me.

  5. Demon Souls thanks to Monsly finding it for £13.99 on Play.com

Annoyingly tomorrow and Monday are bank holidays so if it doesn't turn up with the postman on Saturday I will be waiting until Tuesday me thinks.

  6. Glad you managed to get it - seemed like a really good deal. The PSP Tactics Ogre special edition is only £14.99 so I snaffled that up. Do you have a bargains thread here? Was going to add them but this phone is a bit of pain when looking around.

  7. Haven't set one up yet and have a bit of a hectic day so if you get a chance first by all means do.

  8. I've stuck it under supersonic's slick deal thread for now. Some good deals there, have to keep my eye on them in future.

  9. waiting for a steam deal for AC Brotherhood and AC2.

  10. Just bought Dead rising 2, I was gonna rent it but I enjoyed the first one quite a lot so I thought why not, I know what I'll be doing with my weekend off :D

  11. I bought Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday on g2play.net for 17.99 euro.
I'm planning on pulling my pc downstairs and connect it to the 40inch FullHD tv :D
I'm going to play with a colleague from work while my wife is on a holliday.

  12. Dragon Age II.

    Looking forward to playing it.

  13. I'm sorry.

  14. For what? ;)

  15. You suck.

  16. I played the demo and got the feeling it was just a glorified gamecube punching game. This guy explains it better.

  17. I bought Left 4 Dead 2, Unreal 3 and Bioshock 2 recently.

  18. I didn't feel the love for the original Dragon Age. Should I go back to it? I probably played around 4 hours or so over a few sessions but it never really grabbed me. Seemed a bit rough around the edges and the game play wasn't grabbing me like the other Bioware games I've played.

  19. I'd be interested to hear how you get on with Bioshock 2. My interest really tapered off after the first world/section and it wasn't that high to begin with. Seemed a very by the numbers sequel, which was a shame.

  20. I have to admit Bioshock 2 was dull..the last section I was on I was outside the city moving into a new area...couldn't be bothered with it.
