What TV Shows Are You Watching?

  1. Tell us a bit about what TV shows you've been watching lately.

Other than Californication, I haven't been watching too much. The actress who's supposed to play Mia in the Fucking and Punching movie has some great tits. I think she's just as hot as Susan Sarandon's daughter last season.

Edit: sorry Phisix, but I'd like separate threads for Movies, TV, and Anime. It creates too much confusion combining them.

  2. Naff all.....

TV since Christmas has been awful, can't really think of anything good that's come on since apart from Top Gear which only started last night.

The Walking Dead is worth a watch, I wouldn't say it was amazing but it kept my interest.

  3. Crap! I forgot about Top gear! *Off to iPlayer*

  4. Supernatural

I thought season 5 was the last season, especially as it ended the Apocalypse which should give peace. Sam came back and started going evil, but the last episode out at the moment sort of hinted that he may go back to what he was, or more evil. This show just gets better and better.

    Anyone else watching this?

  5. NCIS, bin following this since the beginning. Good humor and nice to keep track on.

  6. No problem Monkey.

I started watching the Walking Dead last night. Only the first pilot episode mind but I quite enjoyed it. I am a big fan of Zombie films, so this was straight up my ally. The end part in the tank was epic. Looking forward to watching another episode or two later tonight.

  7. I enjoyed that show a lot; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I recently went through all the episodes of Peep Show. Feels like it's dipped a little bit somewhat but it's a fantastic series.

  8. I still find it hilarious. I watched it around mothers once and she was cracking up watching it for the first time, and I have not seen her laugh like that for a while.

I still don't know how Jez gets all those fit women, such as that lesbian...

Ps - You need an avatar. I find it weird without seeing you with one for some reason.

  9. My dog's just invisible. I'll upload one when I get to a PC next.

I think Peep Show is the only comedy I really enjoy at the moment. I just wish they'd give Mark a break some time.

  10. Yeah, he needs it. The last episode I saw was he asked Dobby to move in with him, and you saw Jez get a kick in by Superhands with a wooden plank for chatting up his Asian non English seeking girlfriend. I love it.

Does The walking dead get better? So far there are only 6 episodes out for streaming at the moment.

  11. I am still convinced that you ARE David Mitchell, your voice is too similar for you not to be. Perhaps that's why you wan't Mark to get a break? Fed up with playing the sad loner eh? I would have thought it got you a lot of sympathy with some real life females as a lot people don't seem to be ale to grasp the idea that the person on the TV isn't always the same as the actor.

  12. You daft sexist.

  13. I wouldn't need be so sexist if women would take the time to learn the offside rule!

  14. So you are Andy Gray after all. I knew it.

  15. Perhaps you can put in a good word for me with the director, I always thought Peep Show needed a fat sexist Scottish person.

I can start right away as I probably haven't got anything on for the next 5 years or so.

  16. I Shouldn't Be Alive

It recounts extreme wilderness survival situations people have gotten into, and how they survived and found rescue. It's a great show, but I have no idea why it's on Animal Planet. Seems like it would be more at home on Discovery.

    Some of my favorites:

-A guy's sailboat sinks in the middle of the Atlantic in a place where there's almost no shipping traffic, so he has no chance of rescue. He survives for three months in a life raft by spear fishing and using solar stills for water. The raft drifts more than a thousand miles and he's picked up in the Caribbean.

-A woman is running through some canyons with her dog. She falls off the side of a cliff and shatters her pelvis. She crawls for days trying to reach help since she can't walk, drinking water from puddles and trying to keep from freezing to death. She finally sends the dog to get help and the dog leads rescuers back to her.

-A few guys are sight seeing in the Rockies in the winter in a Cessna. The Cessna crashes and two of the guys are too badly injured to move. The pilot hikes out to get rescue. He's able to get a cell phone signal and is picked up by a helicopter. He tags along with a military helicopter as it searches for the crashed plane and his two buddies. The military chopper gets snagged on a tree and also crashes.

A lot of them have sort of melancholy endings with survivors talking about how they lost friends or family in these situations.

  17. The only shows I watch regularly are Top Gear and that Japanses show, The Iron Chef. I have no idea why The Iron Chef is so addictive, but it is!

  18. It's addictive because of this guy and his ridiculous theatrics:

  19. That reminds me of the Steven Chow film, the god of cookery/cooking. That was classic Chow, before he went all lame and Hollywood with that clunker, CJ7

  20. That and the announcers’ analysis of the dishes being made, they are also pretty funny.
