What TV Shows Are You Watching?

  1. American Pickers is a good show. I'm disappointed Tera Nova got cancelled. It's for sale though so maybe SyFi will pick it up.

  2. SyFy pretty much just does Pro Wrestling and original movies like Megaconda now.

  3. SciFi had this cool show called Alpha's last year, but I lost track of it. Probably got cancelled in favor of something gay like being human.

  4. I thought that South Park Cash For Gold episode was pretty good. Those TV shopping networks really do prey on old people like that.

  5. I like the ppl that call in, their always so ecstatic :p

  6. True. They always seem really excited to buy whatever crap they're hocking.

  7. Mid way through the second season of Breaking Bad. This show really is as good as the hype suggests. The second season seems to have these really heavy hitting reality check episodes every second episode though, so it's hard to be in the right mood for more after that.. it's pretty heavy at times. Luckily it always seems to turn around and show the opposite side of things in the next episode.

I'm really wanting to watch the second season of The Walking Dead, but my house mates gf has to watch season 1 before we start. :(

  8. That episode with the kid with meth head parents who steal an ATM is pretty damn soul crushing.

  9. It crushes something that's for sure!

  10. I've watched Breaking Bad through season 3. I watched all of the Breaking Bad and Walking Dead episodes available on netflix.

  11. I'm halfway through season 2 of Breaking Bad. It's, so far, one of my favourite shows on TV. Unfortunately NETFLIX over here only has 2 seasons up to watch.

  12. I've heard Season 5 will be the last season, which is fine. I'd like to see Bryan Cranston do more movies. He's a very talented and versatile actor.

  13. Netflix has through season 3 of Breaking Bad.

  14. I though the whole thing finished with season 4, I'm looking forward to this indeed.

  15. Yeah but UK Netflix only has.two seasons..I may procure it through nefarious means

  16. I've been watching this new TV series called Awake. It's some detective dude who got in a car accident with his wife and son. You see one funeral scene with him and his wife meaning his son died in the accident.. but then you see another scene with him and his son at the funeral, meaning his wife died.

He goes on his day working on crime but whenever he goes home and goes to bed, his reality swaps around with one being his wife died, the other being his son died. He talks to a psychologist in each reality and they try to explain to him that it's his way of coping.

The twist is that each reality is linked to each other. He finds out hints in each reality to help him solve the crime in the other reality.

    It's pretty interesting so far.

  17. I saw part of an episode of that. It seemed like something that would make a good Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode, but I don't see how they can keep it going for more than a season.

  18. Indeed, after the first 2 episodes, it hit me as the series could get stale if it was anymore than 10 episodes. But they dropped a small bomb in there which could extend it a little longer. But they need alot more bombs than that to make this go further.

  19. Caught a couple episodes of Duck Dynasty on A&E (or is it History??) it kinda' reminds me of Weeds... just without the Weed, or anything that'd make it rated R. It fits with the A&E/ History lineup as it's good ole gritty fun. But I'm pretty sure it's scripted. Sort of a redneck version of The Office (without the screw loose manager... mostly). The previews made it look really stupid but it's much better than I thought it'd be.

  20. Justified

It's quite good, and this is coming from someone who usually hates cop shows.
