Justufied is one of my favourite shows. I've been telling everyone who'll listen to give it a go. This season hasn't quite been up to the usual standards but it seems like it's going to finish on a good climactic end.
Shit i haven't kept up with season 3. I have always been afraid to to watch in case they gay it up by killing Boyd. Kinda like they ruined boardwalk empire.
Nope. Boyd is still not dead by the end of Season 4 = at least up the penultimate epsidoe at least. Boyd is too popular to die.
In trialling Netflix at the moment and it's got It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on. Shall I start at the beginning or jump in at a later season? Heard the early ones aren't the best.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has some real funny episodes but I get tired of it's improv methods.
Not every episode of Sunny is a winner. A few of them, like Frank's Brother or Who Pooped the Bed, are just total crap. But when Sunny is good, it's amazing. The cast has really good chemistry, and Danny Devito can be hilarious when he wants to be. The Nightman Cometh is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
There are actually two episodes about the Nightman. Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person and The Nightman Cometh.
Top Gear I love the specials where they dump these guys in some third world hellhole and they have to rely on their cars to get out. The last one I watched was the South America special. I really didn't expect the Range Rover to survive over the Toyota Landcruiser. I've always heard Range Rovers are unreliable pieces of crap. I guess you can't always go by word of mouth. I also expected the Suzuki to survive all of about five seconds in the jungle, and that also made it to the end.
I didn't know there was an American version and I'm guessing it sucks. The show works because the hosts are hilarious and have really good chemistry. I don't think it's something that could be remade and still work.
I don't know why Americans feel like they have to remake every foreign movie and tv show. It's an ego thing I think. They can't stand for another country to have something better. Top Gear works because of the British humor. It just doesn't translate. And I don't particularly want to listen to a bunch of hillbilly NASCAR fans talk about cars, which I'm guessing is what the American version is like.
They have an actual racing car driver person as one of their presenters. And the other two are fat, but there just doesn't seem to be any real chemistry between them, it all seems put on.
