My wife is watching some show about housewives of Orange County or some such. What a bunch of self-obsessed cunts. The kind of show that makes you despair about humanity.
I love using could care less. Chi doesn't like it but I've no idea why, as it actually makes more sense than our version if it.
No it doesn't. If you COULD care less than means your opinion of something isn't rock bottom. You could actually care less meaning you a merely indifferent about something. If you COULDN'T care less that means you have the lowest of opinion of something that you could possibly have. And they gave you a job as a teacher? God help the kids of tomorrow.
And that's why I love using could care less. Gahahahahahah! I shall teach everyone to use that saying out of spite!
I also like Daryl; he's arguably the best character in the series. Perhaps he reminds me of the majority of the population of my state. I like other characters as well, though. I like Rick, Glenn, and Maggie. Most of the others are decent enough. It's mainly the child actor and Dale's facial expression (intentionally singular; he only had one) that bothered me.
I think the main reason why so many people like Daryl is because he has a lot more moments of clarity than everyone else in the group so far. I thought T-Dog was alright until he proved to be a super clumsy asshole, and Glen was alright until he fell in love and turned into an indecisive douchebag. I'm just waiting for Daryl to meet back up with his one-handed brother and do his own thing cuz this Melrose Place group is really holding him back. Hell, that inept girl almost shot his face off.
Stoke me a slipper, I'll be back in time for Christmas. I used to absolutely love Red Dwarf but I think season 7 was the last I saw. The one where the nano bots had remade the ship. I've been watching the trailers for this and I'm worried because they all look way too old now and I'm thinking if they've got the same comedy it might not hold up so well by today's standards and if they've changed it, it just won't be Red Dwarf. Cheap props and tacky special effects were ok 15-20 years ago, not so sure these days.
Well I quite enjoyed it. 100x better than back to earth, helped by the fact this one actually had funny moments. Rimmer and Cat were the 2 stars of the episode. I thought the sets were good too.
decided to give this Red Dwarf thin a go. It's certainly awkward I keep seeing hot gaelic (Game of Thrones) girls whenever the main dude (who I at first thought was Mexican lol... a Mexican Brit??) says 'rth... I really don't think he pronounces the 'e' CERTAINLY has no concept of an 'a' sound whatsoever. Awkward indeed.
I'm guessing you're talking about Lister. He's a scouser, that is to say he's scouse (Liverpool area). They've always sounded god awful to me.
I've been giving Revolution a go. I've seen the first two episodes and they're okay. Nothing too special yet.
If you COULDN'T care less while monsly COULD care less than you do, then who wins? Think about that while you watch the season premiere of Gossip Girl.
