At least your wait starts here. The rest of us has been waiting for a long time already since S3 ended. Supposedly another 100 episodes has been asked for so thats good if they can keep up how good it is. That episode with the singing cloud signing moonmen is my favourite episode of R&M.
The Man in the High Castle S1 Pretty good so far. Based on a story by Philip K Dick about an alternate timeline in which the Axis won WW2 and nuked and conquered the US. West Coast is controlled by Japs. East coast by Nazis. And there's a neutral zone in the Rockies that is filled with fugitives. There's a cold war brewing between the Japs and Nazis, and they might turn on each other at some point.
S1 is a a lot of world building, which is pretty interesting. I'm guessing the storytelling picks up more in S2.
Black Mirror It's a bad Twilight Zone wannabe with a technology theme that only has one good episode.
Ozark S2 This show is just okay. It feels like it was cobbled together from parts of other better shows, mainly Breaking Bad and Justified. I was hoping maybe it would get better or find its own voice in the second season, but that hasn't happened.
Finished Rick and Morty season 3. It was good but I also get the feeling they are running out of material. I predict season 4 will not be good.
YOU on Netflix It's a show about a serial killer stalking a girl. It reminded me of Dexter in its early seasons before it got bad with all of that lumberjacking and sister fucking.
The Good Place The first season was kind of slow but funny. The second season is getting better. I also started watching the first season of The Orville.
The Inventor on HBO and The Dropout on ABC It's still unclear to me whether Theranos was a straight up scam, or if Elizabeth Holmes was doing a "fake it til you make it" type thing where she thought she could eventually get the blood testing technology to work which would justify scamming investors. Either way she ripped off some very powerful people so she might actually do some hard time. She's a somewhat attractive white blonde woman with some money, so then again she may very well not do any time.
Fyre Festival Documentary on Netflix It just seemed like damage control by the people who ran the festival. They basically just threw the main guy under the bus and said he was responsible for everything, even though some of them had to be in on the scam too.
Manhunt Apparently based on a real serial killer case in the UK. It was really suspenseful, I meant to just skim the first episode but ended up watching all 3 episodes.
Barry on HBO It’s kind of one note and boring. Not really funny. Not a lot of action either. Maybe you could do a movie with this premise but it’s too thin for a tv series.
The Crown It’s a huge spectacle with super high production values. It seems like it’s trying to justify the existence of the monarchy even though the monarchy doesn’t really do anything.
