I can't pinpoint exactly when the Simpsons went to crap, but I think it was somewhere around 1999 or 2000. Phil Hartman did a lot of the voices, and the show wasn't the same after he was murdered. They should have canceled it after he died. The best episodes are all from the mid to late 90s. They should have also come out with a movie a lot sooner than they did. The movie wasn't that great and it came out after most people lost interest in the show.
Also most of the best writers from that era left to work for Pixar, soon after, Finding Nemo came out, that was why that film is so awesome.
Watched the Season 2 finale of Justified today while I was waiting up at the hospital. That show is one of my favourites on TV at the moment..I seriously suggest people give it a go.
It's a TV show based on some Elmore Leonard story; produced by and starring Timothy Olyphant. Hard to explain but the synopsis from IMDB says: It's easily one of the best shows on TV; only 13 episodes in a season though but I'm glad because it'd be spoiled if they dragged it out and filled it with filler. To me it's easily on par with Dexter....and if you know how much I like Dexter then you can take that as an endoresement and a half.
The Office without Steve Carrell was just bleh. I hoped they would end the show, but it looks like they're going to try to keep it going.
Has it really gone downhill? I've not seen any of season7 yet; waiting for the US DVD release. Thought season 6 was a little weak at times but was still very funny at times.
The last two episodes weren't outright terrible, but it definitely feels like it's missing something without Steve Carrell.
It was just the first 3 episodes I watched. I just finished the other 3 now. A good ending too. Looking forward to the next season.
I liked the pilot of The Walking Dead, but wasn't thrilled with episodes that followed. Hopefully they can pull it together in season 2.
What it needs is some fine ass women. There are only two at the moment, and the blonde one is not looking so good since her daughter.
Pawn Stars Great show. It combines history, greed, and fat guys. I'll always watch a new episode if I get a chance.
Game of Thrones is actually quite good. I'm not sure why the pilot was so lame, but it really picks up in the second episode, and all of the episodes since then have been good.
Supernatural season 6 finished. Now I started it all over again as I have to wait until September for it to start again. Currently on season 2.
