Weeds, ok Netflix is pretty decent at streaming those premium HBO/ Showtime TV dramas... though Weeds only went up to S5 (S6 seems to be newly released but why the f* doesn't Netflix have it yet??). S1 and 2 were interesting. Got sick of it in S3... too much porno I think. Nothing against a little skin, but S1 and S2 were fun WITH their clothes on (98% of the time...) it's like they ran out of ideas and turned the main MILF into a hoar. S4 was a little too 'Lost' for me (double meaning there...) but I could tell it was setting up something. S5 she's still a hoar who will do most anything for money, but at least it got good again. I want to see S6 damnit!! Dexter bites, I'm just a pussey like that Netflix is also great for anime... but I can find most of it free (legally) just as easy.
I think Netflix is stuck with only what these studios are allowing them to put up to stream. I remember being able to stream CSI episodes as current as the season they were airing at that time. You just had to wait about a week after it aired, then you could watch it on netflix.
MAFIAA still doesn't seem to understand that they're competing with torrent sites. Why pay when the free option is better?
I just watched the six episodes of Walking Dead. It was slow at times, but so incredibly well done, I can't wait for next season. I'm hoping Wilfred and Falling Skies turn out to be as good as they look. At the very least, True Blood starts up end of next month so I can get my much needed fix of over-the-top, bad acting, sex-centric vampire drama.
True Blood is complete trash, but I can't stop watching it. I miss the Tudors. That was another delightfully trashy show.
Quoted for relevance. Its just plain awful, yet I've been faithful to it for three seasons and I find myself highly anticipating the new season. Hopefully we don't have to see as much of Bill Compton, he is the worst.
Last night while flicking through the channels I ended up on Sky Atlantic and a new show called 'funny or die'.... I watched the first 5 minutes, realised that it was in no way funny and switched off.
Yeah funny or die has made the move from the interwebs to the small(?) screen. I never thought it was all that funny to be honest.
Has to be one of the least funny things I have ever seen if I am honest so I went back to watching the Royle Family. I always keep a DVD boxset handy for times when there is nothing on and tend to go through the lot and then move onto another. Finished series 1 last night so onwards and upwards... Annoyingly I did start the Young Ones before that but found someone has stolen series 2 so waiting for it to arrive in the post again. Not sure whether to finish the Royle Family first or interrupt it to finish that off. After this I think I shall either go with Spaced or The Green Wing.
Supernatural, whatever season it is that you guys are watching in the states - have to use curica as the UK channel only has S.3 or whatever it is.....all I know is that watching on the internet can be a real ballache at times.....but worth it for a fix.
Probably to a degree, I imagine a lot of girls watch it simply to look at Sam and Dean. I have seen the first 4 series and some of the episodes were quite entertaining but there was a lot of filler crap.
Supernatural just reached the end of season 6 the other day. There will be a season 7! How is Supernatural a chick show? You must mean Charmed or Buffy. Supernatural is a mans show, though its eye candy for the girls, but they make up for that by always putting in hot girls.
Okay then, I'm a girl..........I'm now off to play with my hot self for hours, whilst fantasising over the winchesters........
I checked with Mrs furious and I think that the last one we saw had cass threatening crowley as he was torturing 2 freaks at the end of an episode.......that's all I can remember.
