Yeah a dude watching that show is kinda gay. It's basically two hunky guys standing around posing and preening for an hour...and they occasionally punch a vampire or a werewolf or something. My girlfriend used to like that show. So either Phisix is into the really lame story on that show, or he likes looking at dudes. If he's really into that show True Blood is better and trashier, and there's something for everyone in the skin department.
How is it a lame story? It is quite popular actually and it's about hunting, killing and what not. Well, the last two seasons they have not killed as much as they should do.
I'm not watching any TV at the mo but I AM looking forward to season six of Dexter. Colin Hanks is the villain this season. Also has Edward James Olmos from BSG and Miami Vice too. I need to find something good to watch. Am thinking either Mad Men or Entourage. I'm swinging towards watching The Shield again though..if you've not seen The Shield I suggest you give it a look.
Series (Season) 6 of Supernatural started on Sky Living last night so I watched it as there wasn't much else on. Overall it was a bit crap and just how many times can these boys come back from the dead?
Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution I knew the obesity epidemic was bad in the deep south, but I guess I didn't know quite how bad. And some of the rednecks he encounters are just so ignorant and arrogant, and it's appalling how badly they've screwed up the eating habits of their kids. And for the record, not all Americans eat like this. I cook most of my own meals and eat healthy food.
Season 6 starts off slow, but it gets better. Sam does get brought back once again, but this time it is not for the best as you will find out if you continue to watch.
Wilfred was really funny but I'm not sure where they're going to go with it. It seemed like the idea ran it's course during the first episode.
Just found out that there will be a second series of An Idiot Abroad, this time its things you have to do before you die and apparently one of them is parachuting. Karl Pilkington makes me laugh so looking forward to this, will start in September. Been watching re runs of the first series which is what made me think to look it up. I expect I would be much like Karl if I went to half of these places, I hate being out of my comfort zone and never really go away as a result.
True Blood started Sunday! I've gotten to see the first two episodes, this season is going to be ridiculously awesome.
Millionaire Matchmaker I think this might be the worst reality show on the planet. They should just call it gold diggers and rich idiots. The woman who runs it is a walking Jewish stereotype, and it's basically an escort service.
The Austrialian original Wilfred was pretty good at times, had a pretty different feel to it, a bit more indie I guess. I'm really liking the US one though. I thought it would flop hard, but since they used the original actor, it actually works very well and the humour is only compounded because of the character really standing out from the setting.
The Killing Who farted on Rosie something something. Not sure what this was about because I literally fell asleep about five minutes in it was so boring. Also, the premiere of Breaking Bad was just as good as I expected. That episode was way more gruesome than just about anything I've seen on basic cable. I don't think I'll ever look at a box cutter the same way again.
