Why are cosmetic surgeries and weight loss drugs so disastrous in the US?

I don't keep up with celebrity gossip, but there are so many disasters that I end up seeing bits of this stuff in feeds like YouTube of Erin Moriarty wrecking herself and actresses like Olivia Wilde and pop tarts like Ariana Grande looking like they are on the verge of death. Why do you think these shady "medical" treatments have been so disastrous lately in the US, but stars in South America and Asia end up looking incredible afterwards?

    Meanwhile, in South Korea:

  2. The LA cosmetic surgery scene is notoriously aggressive in its approach, to the point of frequently botching patients

  3. I think those people are going to regret getting all their buccal fat removed from their faces. They won't age well.

  4. To me the buccal fat surgery mostly makes them look 15 years older overnight, and I'm sure you're correct it will look even worse as they age.

The blonde chick from the Boys had that done and completely destroyed her looks. She looked so different I initially thought they had recast the part with a different actress.

Those looksmaxer incel guys also get buccal fat removal and they end up looking like something out of Zoolander with their faces permanently stuck in the Blue Steel pose. Then they wonder why women think they look weird and won’t sleep with them, lol.

  6. An amusing thought I had about Erin Moriarty was that it's genuinely possible that they could have recast that role to a different actress that looked more like her old self than she does now.

I also think the clock is ticking before the first major star dies from one of these weight loss drugs like Ozempic (well, used for weight loss off label in this case; it's supposed to be used to treat diabetes). Many of these celebrities look near death concentration camp thin but believe they look amazing. That's a formula for disaster.
