@alterego: I think they're trying to seize the living room before Apple; they also seem to want to shift to an online focused, software download model with a single account tying it together. Reminds me a bit of Surface; trying to do a lot of things but not really excelling at any of them. The main thing that could save this is if cable/satellite providers choose it as a set top box. Could be a big market there. Maybe it's not as bad as it seems. E3 needs to see a momentum shift I reckon.
It helps the Wii-U as well. That said, people will still buy it unless this generations Xboxers jump to the PS4.
I heard they cancelled the post show executive interviews with the press. That's a good sign, seems they're really confident about the Xbone's message getting out there.
Pre Show M$ have said Rare are going to be showing a new game from its old library that fans have been asking for in the conference.
That's a bit of a switch for Insomniac. Shame I can't watch this live - stuck watching TV at the moment.
To be honest the game didn't look very interesting although we just got pre-rendered I think. There is now a McClaren on the stage and they going on about Forza.. Yawn. It looks very nice but it is a driving simulator so boring. It has a 'driveatar' which I think means they ripped off B Spec.
I haven't heard anything but I have missed a bit for dinner, missed an apparent LBP rip-off according to the chat feed. With some sort of app for smart devices you can connect to your account and set up matches in other games and then just move from your current game into the next one your current game ends. XBOX ONE broadcasts live video over Twitch.
I don't know, I haven't played a fighter since Soul Calibur II so I am not bothered. Showing off Dead Rising 3 at the moment. They just showed of a game called Crimson Dragon by the Panzer Dragoon people, it basically looks like a new game in the series.
Yeah, just heard about the Panzer game - I'd be quite tempted to get that, depending on how Kinect's integrated.
Depends when you are asking this question. If it was 10 years ago, yes. When MS bought Rare and Rare started developing titles for the first XBOX, killer instinct was THE title everyone was anticipating. But they started doing kid titles like Banjo Kazooie and Grabbed by the Ghoulies. But now, fighting games are pretty much dead so yea.. no one really cares.
