    Quality varies a lot and may not be as good as a official digital version........ but I could care less!

    Not sure if it still applies because you can upload HD stuff to YouTube now that I assume has better sound but if you added &fmt=18 to the end of a link it would raise the audio quality from the default in the past.

    is it actually easier to rip audio from a youtube video? you have to extract/demux the audio from the flv/mp4 file and then re-encode an already compressed audio file to mp3 which further loses quality. and this is on top of the fact that youtube already compresses the users upload initially.. so you're compressing an already compressed file, that was probably a compressed file from source.

    just use torrents you dudebros.
